Sakura Collection Asia Student Awards is a competition that aims to unleash the potential young fashion student in Asia. It is being held for the 8th consecutive year in conjunction with Sakura Collection Japan 2020. It is held separately in other Asia countries including Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand and Myanmar. The theme of this competition was “Japan”, where the participants are required to undergo the fashion design process including design sketches, mood board and fabrication board to create a collection of garments that themed Japan.
